We are very excited to offer our customers local Organic Pork out of our Frozen Department.  We have now expanded our offerings to inclue sausage, pork chops, ribs, ham steaks, and smoked bacon, from Loren and Andrea Haverinen in Menhga, MN. 

Our newest Beef suppliers are Wayne and Heidi Haverinen, also from Menhga. They have been certified organic since 2002 and feed their cattle a grass-based diet. Health benefits of grass-fed beef are numerous; they include lower fat and calories, and higher antioxidant content.

Most of the meats that we buy locally are processed at Meyer's Meats in Nevis, MN. They work with us to determine the kinds of cuts we want from individual animals and are less than an hour from our store. Please let us know if you have any special requests and we can try to accommodate the next time we buy an animal.

And don't forget our ever-popular grass-fed bison. We buy from Northstar Bison in Rice Lake, WI.
