So many co-ops that were started in the 1970’s have expanded into supermarkets. One thing I hear from a lot of our visiting customers is that Harmony reminds them of what their co-op used to be – small, down-to-earth, vibrant, community oriented with an individual feel to it.
Working individually with our Harmony staff adds quite a lot to anyone’s shopping experience. I’ve never been part of a more confident, intelligent, knowledgeable, dedicated, and fun group of retail people. Like I’ve always reminded my staff – customer service has to be the greatest part of a store that is owned by over 50% of our customers.
